I just tried lets go eevee for the first time yesterday and I was surprised, it's actually fun to play and seems polished? I don't remember the last time I enjoyed a pokemon game this much. Apart from being not able to battle wild pokemon.. but that's also good in it's own way too.

Plus eevee riding around on you and the occasional grrrrr prior to jump into battle. Some of the move animations are super lazy still like double kick, but it doesn't get to me as much as other games

Why don't I enjoy scarlet/violet like this?
