I'm gonna evolve Slowpoke to a Slowking, and the monarch directly preceding Victoria was King William IV. King William took the throne when he was 64, and Slowpoke is the last one in my party yet to evolve, so he's named William.
Liesegang rings are a series of colored bands in geology, named by German Chemist Raphael Liesegang. Mega Steelix exhibits these, so Steelix is named Liesegang.
