>>58113211Megas aren't an instant win, if anything they are the opposite, people always complain strong mons became stronger and shit mons just became decent/good, and they also don't have the problem of being potential new mons that were dropped to make room for the gimmick instead because megas only are added to pokemon from older generations with the sole exception of Diancie, you never have shit like Coalossal that was clearly created with the giga in mind but will now never be complete because no galar, and Megas were actually in several games, in several gens and never properly left the franchise, while Giga was only in one game.
