I really want to know how they are gonna limit the gimmicks. Will there be formats per gimmick (only Mega, only Z, only Dyna, only Tera) on top of being able to clash them like in the trailer? Or maybe combined gimmicks like "you can only use Z-moves (and Ultra Burst) and megaevolution (and Primal Reversion)" or "you can only use Dynamax (and Gigantamax) and Terastalization"? Because being able to use all of them in one single team is a little crazy, imagine this bullshit

Dynamax can only exist by itself.
It is so extremely overpowered compared to megas and tera that there's no way anyone would pass it up if it was an option. Really can't be overstated how oppressive and awful dynamax is as a gimmick.

Probably regulation sets that change the allowed gimmick regularly. There's only going to be 4 max at launch (the new gimmick will be restricted to cart for its Generation) so will almost certainly rotate them to prevent it going stale.

The balance of these gimmicks is probably going to be a pain in the ass. Megas and Z-Moves have items that limit their usefulness in generally good ways, Dynamax is basically 3 Z-moves and 3 turns of a boost for no item which is fucking ridiculous, and Tera is really neat and dynamic without necessarily being too OP but if you're required to have an item for it it becomes way less dynamic and borderline useless outside of a few Pokemon or situations.

Gen 7 was fine, megas are not that centralizing - just Salamence and Metagross judging from 2018/19 results. Mega K was not as oppressive in gen 7 and even in gen 6 it was only unquestionable in 2015.
Now if we're talking about Primals, Xerneas, and MegaFug, well that's a different story.

They are, and you faggots are going to be SKILL ISSUED because you didn't bring a Pokemon with Mold Breaker or any status-inflicting move, or Stealth Rock, or Leech Seed, or Sandstorm/Hail, or anything else that kills it.

Shedinja is a hard skill check in the ladder, if it walls your team you're objectively retarded.

The other scourge of NDAG isn't going to be an issue in Champions since Fissure is an illegal move on Machamp as of Generation 8.

They are going to allow tera to function on Wonder Guard. This is not going to be an issue for players of the ACTUAL META because of the opportunity cost of using a Shedinja when it's so easily shut down by several sets that are still competitively viable in their own right.

Obviously you can't make a Shedinja that doesn't lose to something, that's not the problem. The issue is there are so many sets that have very specific counters that (other than Mold Breaker) it's impossible to fit literally everything on one team so you will sometimes just auto-lose to the Shedinja with the right set. And of course bad matchups will always happen but there's a difference between, like, "my team is weak to this Scizor set but I can still beat it if I play smart" and "my team is weak to this Shedinja set and I literally cannot do damage to this Pokemon at all"

If your opponent is running both Entry Hazards and Sandstorm, you're fighting a 2 v 3. The Shedinja user is gambling that they end up with a retard for free VP.

Why would it? Megas don't have significantly higher poly counts on average, Dynamax only makes the model bigger which doesn't affect performance. Tera has a lot of article effects but if SV could handle two on the field at once then Champions can too.
