Pawmot has volt absorb, gets fake out, revival blessing, coaching, etc
There's a pretty solid movepool, run as much bulk as possible and you may get some utility from it.

How many pikaclones would you say are stronger?

Rabsca has the same move and is probably like the least popular gen 9 pokemon by design, both in the west and east.

I used one last year when we had that format without legendaries. It's a great support mon. Its not too bulky byvVGC standards, but it's just good enough to get by. I ran Nuzzle, Fake Out, Helping Hand and Revival Blessing. I very rarely needed Revival Blessing though, Pawmot either got KOed or I won. I also used Archaludon, Pelipper, Sneasler, Maushold and Amoongus.

Even if we count the actual game and not the fanfic meta, Pachirisu and Raichu have both won Worlds.
And nobody this year made top cut with Pawmot, so Anon will have to wait until next year before he can argue that it's the best pikaclone.

Yeah, close combat is better to have, also ran mach punch on one.
Revival blessing sounds really cool on paper, but actually using it effectually is tough.
