>>58121483Its honestly pretty interesting. Pokemon Tower was cool because using a giant tower as a graveyard is a pretty interesting twist on the concept of graves usually being underground. And then taking what is likely the most iconic and historic landmark in the region and bulldozing it for commercial use is so frustratingly realistic. It would be blood boiling and offensive in universe, and the fact that it manages to translate this onto the players via lore alone shows its effectiveness.
The real tragedy isn't that they did it, its that they didn't ever revisit it in the future. A radio tower built over the largest gravesite in the region has so much potential. To bad they are afraid to visit Kanto again without it being a rehash.
