you claim some mons will be better because of how fast they would move, well, most normal types will be able to move faster than snorlax making it harder for it land hits, so how is it better?
and a counter argument can be made in snorlax's defense as well
it's bulky and if you are skilled enough and time your attacks well, you'll be able to deal tremendous damage to those faster agile ones with little defense
so it's pretty much a matter of skill and realizing how a pokemon functions, what role it plays, and ultimately, how good you are
