I think they'll probably limit access to 0 IVs for Pokemon transferred in from HOME. They can't have the Pokemon who originated in Champions be stronger or weaker than HOME transfers or vice versa, but this would allow the HOME transfers to have a small advantage in certain circumstances but without invalidating Champions mons entirely.
