>Legends Arceus
>the player is sent to the past, where they discover new regional forms and evolutions that are either extinct or very rare in modern times, and join an organization aiming to colonize the wilderness of ancient Sinnoh
>Legends Z-A
>set in the present, after the events of XY, and with new mega evolutions. The player helps an organization aiming to make Lumiose a city where pokémon and people can live together

How would you keep the Legends formula fresh without it feeling like a repeat of the previous games?

Some ideas:
>Legends Unova
Set in the future, like a century after B2W2. The player explores a retrofuturistic Unova with new regional forms that evolved from modern-day pokémon, aiming to teach people how to reconnect with nature
>Legends Alola
Set in the present, after SM/USUM, with the player character working for Aether Foundation and exploring Ultra Space, discovering "regional forms" of regular pokémon that inhabit the Ultra worlds
>Legends Hoenn
Set in the past, a few decades before ORAS, when Sea Mauville was still operating. Focuses on exploring underwater ruins and new islands, discovering new mega evolutions
>Legends Galar
Set in Poké Ireland, a few years after the events of SwSh, with new gigantamax forms. The player has to find Eternatus to stop an energy crisis on Galar, which is bound to happen much sooner than Rose predicted
>Legends Kanto
Set in the past, during the time of the expedition that discovered Mew, with new regional forms from "Guyana"
>Legends Paldea
Set in Poké Catalonia, a few years after SV, and focusing on the discovery of special terastal forms
