So many megas are a joke. So many regional forms are a joke. Why do they always seem to make new forms lame reddit joke shit? I think the reason is because it's easy to make something stupid and pass it off as le funny joke (XD it's dumb and I didn't try! Isn't that funny!? It's so bad it's good XD) instead of actually making something cool. Making something that people like because it's actually cool or interesting is way harder. Just make it really stupid and look funny.

I don't know about you, but I didn't get interested in pokemon as a kid because it was a fucking comedy. It's because it was cool as fuck as a kid. Now it seems like so many new pokemon are just a lazy joke and pokemon are retroactively becoming joke lines and caricatures because of the tired people working on this who don't give a fuck. It's not like they're even coming up with something new that's funny, "just put fat lips on it like that mario character lol everyone already knows that's funny." "Lol slap another mustache on one." Some pokemon had aspects that were humorous (and more subtly funny) like shellder biting slowpoke's tail and slowpoke being slow, but it's not like every pokemon is supposed to be a completely retarded fucked up hilarious three stooges joke or meme. Now when they design new pokemon they're like "LOL THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY!!!1!11 BECAUSE IT'S SO RETARDED! WE DID IT AGAIN! IT'S EVEN FUNNIER BECAUSE WE KEEP DOING IT!!" But it isn't funny.
