Shrouded Fable was the most dogshit set (at least bottom 3) of the modern era.
Investors, store owners, and especially distributors hate that set like you can’t imagine. They just couldn't move it at all.
That was the case until the promos (Greninja and Kingdra) exploded in price. Investors manipulated the special product with the promos and BOOM sealed Shrouded Fable was flying off the shelves...
The rest of the SF boxes are still rotting on shelves though, but you get the general idea.
All it took was two cards for product to start selling like crazy.
The same is true for Paldean Fates and pic rel.
Investors are going to continue to meme this card into being the "next Moonbreon" to inflate the average box price, and they will succeed because the set is solid af and it still has cool cards like the shiny Charizard EX and the Gardevoir EX
But you know what they’ll target next?
The pile of dogshit that is Shining Fates.
That set has been rotting in their basements for so long they are desperate to push whatever gem is in that set. Unfortunately for them, that set has only one card which at some point was $500 and tanked down to $100
Trust me when I saw this but that card is bound to explode in price no matter what happens.
