If I hear one more fucking goddamn person in this fandom suggest that Ice should resist Water, I am going to commit heinous acts.

THEY FREEZE IT WHEN USING OFFENSIVE ATTACKS, the freezing part is relevant to Ice's offensive relationship with Water, it has NOTHING to do with the incoming Water attacks that are going to hit it. The Ice Type is not fucking freezing the incoming Water Gun BEFORE it hits them. The liquid water is going to be warmer than the Ice Type's body, and it is going to flush the Ice Type's body with heat. In NO FUCKING WAY does it make any goddamn sense that Ice would ever resist Water.
