they certainly tested the waters with lopunny and its mega, but gen 7 was downright shameless. why did they do it bros?

oh undeniably, the sex sells mentality definitely had something to do with it, but i'm so curious as to why this gen specifically is so insanely horny compared to the others.
like i said they did it previously did it with lopunny, they kind of just went all out with it during gen 7 for some reason, and no other gen has really rivaled it.
tsareena and salazzle are the obvious standouts here, but i'd like to also mention lurantis, tapu lele, tapu fini, pheromosa, and primarina. they really just crammed this gen full of stereotypical feminine humanoid pokemon for some reason, and it boggles my mind as to why.

Ohmori took over and inserted his little girl fetish into everything, then got smacked by higher-ups between generations and was forced to tone it down later. This is why everything in gen 8+ is significantly less horny to the point of almost being the opposite extreme

He's literally responsible for the loli focus In gen 7 and god there was a lot of them Lillie, Selene, Lana, Acerola, and Hapu not to mention the teens like Mallow and Mina. Which is in art why Gen 7 had SO many waifumons in the 'dex. There's also the fact the following games didn't actually push a paedo mindset and that Game Freak consider the male MC the canon MC, which makes it look like a story told revolving around Elio and not actually the player (a stunningly obtuse concept, I know).
