Typhlosion was canceled because skibbity brainrot toilet head Gen alpha tidepod eaters who are so stupid there status as human is debatable, were angry that Typhlosion was threatening the shillmon order by being organically popular despite its lack of shilling. A “bland” Pokémon having fans made Gen alpha angry to they falsely accused it of rape in a #Metoo farce and pokekikes are such a rotten fanbase that they threw typhlosion under the bus so their own favorite shitmon could look a bit better.

The Porygon incident resulted in real deaths and suffering, there were real victims, so consequences being dished out is basic justice though it shouldn’t have been Porygon, since it it didn’t fucking so anything

Reminder that the original story is called "The Girl Who Married the Bear" by Catharine McLellan, specifically the version told by Maria Johns, is a story from the Tlingit tribe, in itself the bear (typhlosion/piloswine/slaking) does what it does out of revenge because the girl stepped on and insulted the bear's excrement, which is a taboo.
