Why do they never do anything with the Unown?

It's always some cryptic puzzle in some postgame dungeon leading to some random useless item.

They build up Unown as these cosmic forces with untold power and never do anything cool with them, always something lowkey and subtle, which could also be cool if the rewards were actually worth it.

And if you wanna live up to the lore, then do so. As it stands, they have no alternate forms using the swarm, no mega, no gmax, no Z move, no evolution, no nothing.
