See that board name "/vp/ - Pokémon"? Now, listen here, it used to be "/tr/", for Team Rocket. In the first few months of our beloved veepee it was much more unmoderated. We had roleplay threads, porn threads, avatarfags, tripfags, and even ooollld holdovers from /v/ like the "Pokemon General". We had to self moderate too, we did. One too many porn threads? Better spam some Gary Oak to tell em to fuck off. Mmhmm, it was the wild west back then, the rocky, but explosive dawn of a new board. The OC was flowing like water, I tell you. I still see some of the Poke-fied reaction images made in the first few days of /tr/ reposted today, warms my heart I gotta say.
Now, this all ended after a few weeks, moderation got a lot more strict, the roleplay generals were ousted, the Pokegirl threads properly contained. And to cap it all off, /tr/ was removed and replaced with the board name you see now.
I do miss it, I can only hope some of the old /tr/ainers still lurk to this day...
