>>58188934It's true that they can be drawn subtly, but really I think it's also a matter of personal taste. I just don't like how they look, and I prefer to see even mammalians without them (even if it doesn't make much sense logically speaking). But I can understand that some others do like them.
My issue, really, is that many artists draw them in a very exaggerated manner, which is personally a bit offputting.
