>>58180575Haxorus is a Pokémon that feels like it had everything to go right but somehow ended up not having any impact. It was the very first Gen 5 mon designed. Crazy attack and very notable speed, good movepool, Axew was one of the most promoted Gen 5 mons during its era including being Iris main companion in the anime and one of the 5 Pokémon you could play as in Mystery Dungeon GtI. There was even a fixed shiny Haxorus encounter in B2W2.
I think having a Mega would help bring it more attention but I don't think Gamefreak even remembers that they tried to promote this guy.
