>>58181034We really don't care and prefer to think about the next Digimon game, really. Go on the digi thread in /vg/ or the digimon subreddit, nobody is asking, why it has more views. We know Pokemon will sell better like always, but we don't care about that. And to think that Pokemon is better because more people thinks it's better is an argumentum ad populum. That would be the same as saying that Justin Bieber was one of the best artist of 2010 or that Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey are 2 of the best series of book ever.
Objectively, Digimon Story Time Stanger is prettier, seems to have a better build story, have several biomes and not just one city, better exploration mechanics, better animation, more expressive faces. We're excited, we're talking about what was in the video. We don't compare it to the number of views of another series. Digimon Story Time Stranger have everything to be the highest sold Digimon game as of now (with CS, NO having all over a million sales and Survive was at 500000 3 years ago which is good for a VN), making us hopeful for the next games to continue having this level of quality.
Why is it that some Pokemon fans falls into tribalism, showing overbearing loyalty over this franchise while trying to discriminize others? You allowed low res textures since gen 8 that you still have today, you allowed the removal of Pokemons accepting GF's lies when they said it was so they could make 3D models from scratch and higher quality of animations, which was debunked by dataminers, you allowed the removal of Exp Share instead of making it just optional, some allowed the bugs of SV by saying it made the game funnier, some excuses that the Switch still didn't received the promised patch. You allowed GF to do a seemingly mediocre game. And it's not just a question of Pokemon vs Digimon. Even Nihon Falcom and Gust, small companies, less popular than GF and BN, doing a new game every year, with less available money, put more effort into their games
