People can autisticly look at images of the franchise all day for their whole life, but only ladderfags can enjoy Smogon's hypocrisy for 15 years consistently. Battles are the same shit with different paint but Gen 8 and Gen 9 have some really ugly paint. There are dedicated Showdown-only players sure, but many people would test sets on Showdown before making them in game. If someone isn't playing cartridge then they have no reason to test sets. Fix multiplayer on cartridge and people will use tools to prepare for that multiplayer again.
