For the love of God, Phoebe isn't Hawaiian she's Okinawan. Ever Grande City is literally set on Okinawa and her grandma is native to Hoenn where as Glacia outright states she isn't. The actual robbery is no Bellossom in SM OR USUM for whatever fucked up reason. And people think Dexit started with SwSh

Surge isn't from Unova, his nationality is completely irrelevant to the franchise as of LGPE because they don't want the uncomfortable idea of Pokemon having World Wars 1 & 2 in its history, only a single, fantastical "3000 years ago" war is acceptable now.

What are you talking about? The majority of Sinnoh gym leaders don't show up in HGSS. Only Crasher Wake and Maylene show up, and Cynthia shows up at the Sinjoh Ruins.

Game Freak doesn't care. I know their incompetence is a meme around here, but they truly do not care about these games or their world.

Go look at the dex entries of older Pokemon that have been in newer games for the past few gens. See how many of them are just copypasted or reworded from old entries. They don't care about the Pokemon world.

I like the idea of returning trainers helping evolve mons you normally couldn't get in HGSS like Magnezone, Probopass, Leafeon, etc. I imagine meeting someone like Cheryl or Gardenia who can help evolve your Eevee because they brought a piece of the moss rock or something
