A lack of proper education on Pokémon breeding has led to the spread of debilitating STDs (Super-Tough Diseases), affecting nearly every character and Pokémon. Trainers must navigate a world where battling is secondary to managing health, finding rare "Protection" items, and educating the populace.
Conversely, Pokémon Celibacy presents the sterile, orderly region of Abstina. The population is healthy and free from the plagues of Natal, but at a great cost. A plummeting birth rate and an aging populace have led to societal collapse. Infrastructure is crumbling, essential services are non-existent, and the once-thriving Pokémon League is a collection of empty, dusty arenas. Players must struggle to find resources and convince the aging population to form bonds and ensure the survival of their society.
