1) you have to be a real (and i mean real) pokemon fan
2) you need to have an experience in Pokemon franchise overall
This why i bought 2 Giratinas and 3 Lugias.
Now i have psa 9 and PSA 10 giratinas and 2 PSA10 lugias and 1 psa 9 lugia.
While people were hating on Lugia because it's from a "cheap set" and people stopped caring about giratina because "eh...it's getting old" so i bought two when it was like $270.
Then i was instantly into Magikarp when it was extremely cheap. Same about Bubble Mew (hilarious how people thought it's a shit card because the art is childish)
I'd rather have less but in chase cards. Than a lot of garbage speculated for the future to the moon.
You have to be a total pokefag to notice such things.
It's so simple (just buy cool looking cards of the most popular pokemon) yet people don't get it.
