Getting good enough to play the game in english is a better use of time than crying for a latin translation.

I can speak some spanish because I took it in high school for 3 years. I tried to play omega ruby in spanish but it was completely incomprehensible. I was later told it was sp*niard spanish. Lmao.

If it’s any consolation every mainline game starting with Legends:Z-A (including Champions) will have a Latin Spanish option. Here’s hoping Gen 10 adds Brazilian Portuguese

not either of them but at this point it feels a bit too late for myself, I've been playing pokemon in english for over two decades and making the move would be weird. Besides, still playing in english helps me to not get rusty. If anything it's good that kids will now get the chance to grow up reading a spanish that they can understand

My first Pokémon games were in English, so I got used to playing in that language. I tried playing in Spanish during the fourth generation, but it was uncomfortable to read the Spanish dialect from Spain, and they drastically change the characters' names. I’m not going to play in Latin American Spanish either because they also come up with their own names, which is completely unnecessary.
