So much that she feeds off him, cannibalism style. Seriously, if any Kicannibalism Anon is reading this, I suggest investigating this anime as it's the closest thing that exists to cannibal Kiki. I mean, it might be bad but it's also very short...
Quite a few of her other roles are like this too, younger sister with incest-bait older brother... seems like she was type-cast a lot. So, that she was hired to voice Kiki, a young boy with an older sister that a decent amount of fans ship him with, feels like a "casting gag" to me. Sure, it's also likely she was hired because she's from Aomori, still quite popular (popular characters usually have popular JP VAs in Masters), and fit to portray the happiest version of Kiki... but from the perspective of a Japanese (especially otaku) audience, which would be more familiar with her past roles, sibling incest would spring to mind. Almost like a subtle way to give "crumbs" to Sugu/Sei fans since Masters Kiki is implied to be closest to Juliana.
