Eshop will not be the source of the leak, it's always retail copies. Retail copies aren't gonna get snatched from the factory or off the boat, too much risk and anyone working that high up the chain doesn't care to ruin their life for internet clout. Probably won't get stolen off the trucks, again extremely risky and anyone with the inside info of what's on which trucks isn't gonna try it, random theft would require getting extremely lucky between the truck getting hit, the thief grabbing a copy, and getting that copy to someone with a hacked switch to dump the rom. Most likely it'll be some minimum wage retail associate going nowhere in life or a shift supervisor out of fucks to give grabbing a copy while unloading pallets. Stores usually get their first shipments of new releases about 2 weeks to 5 days out depending on where they are on the truck's route and how big of a store they are, they can't afford to not fulfill their preorders on launch day if there's a delay due to weather or other road conditions.
