Kabadra was banned from the TCG for over 20 years because ONE (1) guy took Zener Cards personally and sued even though that guy lost the case, and the only reason Kadabra was allowed back is is because the guy “forgave” game freak
And keep in mind both of those Pokémon have the Kanto Cushion and all this was before the internet lynch mobs were a thing.

The lion share of the most active Pokemon fans are Gen Z/Gen Alpha. If you though millennials are insufferable.. Z/Alpha are everything bad about millennials negative quintupled. They’re also borderline retarded and completely media illiterate

Game Freak is even more cowardly ans obsessed with optics then they were in the 90. The Tera leak shows they removed a fruit bag from SM because the protagonist can have dark skin. Tera Leak also showed how rotten to the core most Pokémon fans are.
The internet is not going to let a Pokemon resembling as a Klansman just pass. There be a blood bath. Head will rolls. It probably wont get ZA canceled but there will be fucking chaos. And someone’s neck will be on the chopping block.
And Game Freak will deserve every second of it
