according to many, many different leaks, scolipede is getting a mega evolution soon in legends z-a, so i'm operating on tht assumption for the final two teams
i chose the theme "love and self-hatred" because of the dichotomy between how much i wish for meaningful relationships, and how fervently i keep myself distant. the team represents my fears for how my toxic, negative self-perception would affect any new relationship. dragalge, toxapex, and amoonguss all deceive people into approaching, much like how i might get lost in keeping up appearances, and salazzle might be best described as the most intense of emotions, kept locked away, both the capacity for love and burning self-critique. crobat is a bit of a stretch... i guess it's a friendship evolution? and i've got nothing for scolipede, it's just my favorite pokemon lol. its size, speed and power could represent raw physicality, maybe?
even if i knew how to use inkscape or photoshop to design a gym badge, i wouldn't be able to come up with anything interesting anyways
