Is the current state of affairs they're on, even though it's far more likely we'll see Mega Typhlosion, Mega Samurott and Mega Serperior, especially now that Mega Raichu X & Y prove that mons who got regionals are still viable to get Megas, and the Slowbro discrepancy wasn't an exception.

Feels disappointing as a Gen 4 fan. People argue PLA is a love letter to Gen 4, but how can you say that when they replaced the Gen 4 starters and set it in a version of Sinnoh that's so old it's not even called Sinnoh?

The only thing Sinnoh got was retarded horse forms for Dialga and Palkia and a game with no abilities where Regigigas STILL has Slow Start anyway.

Idk, the game doesn't have any fomo or nebulous preorder paid DLC. I'm fine with it, I liked going to bumfuck nowhere to go catch Pokemon and didn't miss the annoying trainers in favor of alphas. I don't really like Sinnoh itself roster-wise and struggled to find a full team I liked but overall it was fine.
I was actually going to get ZA because I liked LA but the fomo stuff is really bugging me.

i hope if they do sinnoh starter megas, that they actually change things up and swap out the primary types for different ones. we're already looking at 12 (13) grass/fire/water trio megas and it's getting a little old now. maybe rock/ground (it has shell smash to make it the first good iteration) flying/fighting (special attacker to avoid the repetition) and ice/steel (slush rush user maybe)?

Why does everyone have such a hard on for Megas? I'd much rather a proper remake for Platinum that isn't fucking BDSP than shoehorning Sinnoh trio Megas into ZA when battle gimmicks come and go at GF's whim.
