So does this mean my boy is spared? I was nervous after that Discord server rumor about the additional Megas including Galvantula, but it didn't mention 2 for Raichu so I'm hoping it's been spared.

Not necessarily, galavantula would still be one of the new megas. But there was far worse fates than getting a lame mega. Your boy wasn’t spared from the FreakLeaks

Think about what you’re saying for a second. A leak containing galvantula and being fake overall doesn’t indicate anything at all for its inclusion in the dlc, positive or negative. So, no, galvantula isnt “spared.” It’s just in the same position for you now as if you hadn’t seen a single leak.
