Having 2 attacks per pokemon would improve the game a lot. Too many mons like Crobat or Quagsire were useless most of the time because of their lack of coverage

Pokémon Conquest was just the English title for a crossover game that was lucky to leave Japan

Conquest isn't fun. Cool premise but the gameplay is a very tedious loop repeated with basically no depth whatsoever. It's not a good game and there's a reason it's dead and buried.

Didn't their available pokemon get reset every subcampaign?
I vaguely remember hunting down optimal links on the main campaign and then loading into one of the bonus campaigns only to discover they didn't have the pokemon I tediously hunted down.

Although that might have been because I was using a romhack.

Nah, their affection is reset but the mons you caught with a trainer remain with them every campain, including evolutions, even though they'll still use the default ones when you face them in combat

Everyone who glazes this game has never fucking played it, or at least never played beyond the main story. Cool premise and aesthetic but the gameplay is easy as fuck, it has the depth of a puddle, the map design is mostly dogshit (which is particularly bad with how often you have to replay maps) and if you play the “postgame” (this is basically the actual game because the main story is more or less an extended tutorial) get ready to enjoy 100+ hours of absolutely braindead tedious grinding
