It's the focus on "realistic" anatomy for cartoon creatures. Like notice how that Dragonite has defined muscle structure, jawline, etc. It's like the equivalent of off-model fanart of waifus that exaggerate their boobs; there's no reason to do it unless you were either horny while drawing it or want other people to be horny while looking at it. Dragonite isn't muscular, but the artist's boner wants him to be. And jus the fact that they would study anatomy of lizards/dogs/bears or whatever shows dedication most normal artists wouldn't have. It's normal to study human anatomy. But nobody really goes out of their way to learn how the fuck a horse body works.

When anything mammalian is drawn in that generic "furry dog" style or variants of it (generic cat, generic toony dragon if non-mammal, generic "furry" bird with that same stupid beak and eyes, etc.), instead of actually how the Pokemon looks. Bonus points if they're given swollen pawpads and/or that stupid "swollen tongue and oversized fangs sticking out of mouth" expression.
Even worse when it's fanart of the Shinx line yet they're all drawn like FUCKING DOGS.

Prioritizing being anatomically correct over being on model. This is true even if they're anatomically correct to the wrong animal, or even going off model to be more human like. People who like the pokemon will draw the pokemon. People who only use the pokemon as a vessel for their attraction to specific body parts are furies.

Exceptions made for non furry pokemon like gardevoir, lilligant, ect. Drawing them off model only makes you a pervert, not a furry.
