Pandering to fans that enjoy Mega faggotry ain't it. Having a "Supermon" just goes against what Pokemon is all about.
Gimmicks like Mega evolution that are exclusive to a certain number of Pokemon out of 1000+ is retarded.
And now they lock shit behind day 1 DLC and forced online battles.
But nuPokemon niggers will slurp this up like no tomorrow.

This is just straight up wrong.
Bonding with your partner Pokémon has been one of the most significant core values of the franchise. This pairs with the battling core value. We pick our favourites not because they are strong but because we resonate with their theme as a whole. Mega evolution ensures that your pokemon is now also capable because you “met” that condition. If you need to hate a gimmick it should be either gigantamax or Tera. Where those two are more region based lore.

I will agree with you that not enough have megas, I don’t think ALL should have one because it will END their potential evolutionary line. It’s natural that some pokemon are still not completely finished in their evolutionary line.

No it isn’t. It’s perfectly in line with Pokémon’s philosophy of pokemon and trainers growing stronger in tandem with one another, via their bond. They spell this out to you at the end of the first game with Blue and Oak, again with Silver in GSC, and then again in BW/2 with N/Ghetsis/Colress.

Except this is exactly what it is though. For all intents and purposes it has been simplified. You can only do it once per battle because of whatever energy that bracelet is using should be used on your favorite. Don’t get me wrong it doesn’t have to be this way, Pokémon has so many species because it IS diverse.

Also the third core value of pokemon is evolution. Not being able to mega evolve is in fact part of that core value that not all pokemon are at the definitive end of their evolutionary line.

Core values:
Bonding, collecting, battling, evolving.

Mega evolution actually hits 3 of those core values of the franchise and is still relevant to the 4th - collecting because that’s a natural occurrence in obtaining your favourite.

Mega isn’t just about increasing competitive viability. It’s the benefit of prioritising one as your fav.

How the fuck would you even reach this conclusion. Its iffy they'd even keep megas for this exact reason.
Whats more impressive looking, Gen 10 bringing forth a new flashy gimmick to completely shift champions or the one people have been using for a whole year at that point.
Outside of a "small gimmick" like z moves being the gen 10 one, i just don't think this is likely. And it sure as shit isn't going to last till past that.
