>>58266645Now, he's funny man he's always silly and joking and keeping you on your toes. But, it's all a ruse. He's really an extremely tall, hyper intelligent, and is only in it for the bag. He's after some sort of prize treasure or otherwise and you have to face him multiple times. The entire ordeal was a distraction just to get the loot, he didn't even care about the battle.
If we're talking Red & Green Versions: On a random tile in the underground tunnel once the player gets the Silph Scope, interaction opens up a secret room where Shadow is fought.
Gold & Silver Versions: Exact same spot, yep. He's in the underground tunnel, random spot this time you need to tune your radio to a specific random frequency and follow the instructions to find him.
Emerald Version: He's underneath the bike path as an optional fight right after the rival battle. He then invades your secret base. He tells you to meet him in the Mirage Tower and then stays in the tower as it collapses. He then is enjoying himself at the Battle Frontier completely unharmed.
Platinum Version: TV stations report on the mysterious Shadow pilfering the Underground. We find him there, then he has us bring him supplies. These items become increasingly hard to find. It all starts with a piece of Heart Mail, and the last few are impossible to get again on the file. After the requests become impossible to fulfil, the final battle with Shadow results in him giving the player all of the items back except the Heart Mail.
