>>58271823The best way to understand Shudo is to watch that episode of Rocko where Ralph, an animator, is tired of making cartoons, but by contract he is obligated to create a second series, so he hires Rocko and his friends to create a garbage product, unfortunately for him the garbage cartoon is a success and he hates that his name is associated with that garbage, he wants to create art, the entire episode tries to ruin the show, then Rocko gives him a lecture about that instead of hating his creation he should use it to express himself, so Ralph takes creative power and turns the series into an artistic work (parodying Disney's Fantasia). People hate the change and the series is canceled.
The same thing happened with Shudo, he was hired to do a series, he did a decent job, but he wasn't interested in continuing, luckily or unfortunately the series was a tremendous success and he was forced to continue it, something that he hated at the time, when he realized that possibly this stupid children's series would be his legacy he began to get really involved and try to print his depressing vision of the world, unfortunately the success of Pokemon was now international and the executives decided to make the series more childish to adhere to international standards, now Shudo and his gloomy ideas did not fit into the vision of the new Pokemon and he was fired, in his last years Shudo took refuge in narcotics and vent his frustration in novels.
