Probably because it’s the Kalos pika clone. It really should’ve gotten an evolution though because it stats are not good enough for its mega to be good without a busted ability

I think even after the DLC, Unova or Kalos will beat it out because with the 4 base game megas, Raichus, Snorlax, and 3 birds, that’s 10 Megas, same as Kalos which will probably get even more in the DLC. I am sick of Kanto though, SNORLAX HAS A GMAX AND THE BIRDS HAVE REGIONAL FORMS, WHERE IS MEGA GOLDUCK

Oh I meant in total, alongside all the XYORAS megas. Hoenn was first, but Kanto wasn't far behind and seeing how Hoenn isn't getting any new mega in the base game makes me think that Kanto might be number one this time.

If the whole Gen 2 & Gen 5 sets getting Megas is true, then the only Gens left with no Megas are... Gens 4, 7 to 9. Less than half of all Gens, but it will be half of all Gens once Gen 10 pops by.

I don’t even need to know what Mega Serperior’s actual design is to tell you that once it gets officially revealed, themefags will parade it because it’s official and they can just claim it “extends the themes of the original design” like they have done for G-max designs, the newest crossgen evos, and the newer Megas.

It's not the most nonsensical spread, but yikes. That is a lot of overlap with Pokemon that already have variants or G-Maxes, and a lot of Kanto. Personally I'm not convinced yet, but if it's real, I hope there are more and at least some of them aren't from Gen 1.
