Pokemon's a bit too smart I'd say. Those cases tried to appeal to a certain crowd people would want to keep their children away from as much as possible, and actively alienated audiences. TPC is wise or crafty enough to not go there, playing it safe with a middle ground so there will be a consistent audience supply, casting the widest of nets.

They should collab w sonic crossworlds. Hyped for that and pacman world repac 2. Especially the latter. The og game is almost godly and the remake seems to expand it a lot.

I see where you're coming from but it's still in a form that's a bit more subtle or general at this stage. Plus they do backtrack with new DLC NPCs instead of double down to dodge any bullets so we know they're doing the wise choices angle

Yeah, I can see why or how this would discourage their core audience, especially the prices.

I suppose the changes to the anime would affect something. For me I'd bring up the discontinuation of movie-exclusive event Mythicals. While bothersome for many of us it was good for promotion.

Pokemon earns more money from merch than games in this era, plus their Trading Cards are all the rage these days. I have to wonder if even this aspect of Pokemon can be toppled.
