What SV did do better was having the box legends play a major role in the story so you'd feel connected to them, and having them power creep their predecessors to hell and back so they'd be good in competitive (though ironically, you're seemingly encouraged to trade away the second one you get which is the one with stats designed for competitive)

The truth and ideals thing wasn't done "better" in BW, it's THE ONLY game with that shit, retard, SV has nothing like that, and the past and nature vs future and technology thing is way better done in SV because it's actually ancient vs super futuristic instead of just a few decades of differences. White and White 2 worlds were already futuristic when they came out over a decade ago, Black and Black 2 are just even more futuristic looking in two or three places.

Not that anon, but SV doesn't do any of that in-game. There's no 'versus'. You have the ancient past game and the distant future game with no crossing between them. They are interchangeable between them, with no mention of the past in Violet nor the future in Scarlet. Both get dismissed as either dreams or alternate realities or both. Who knows? Who cares? There's not enough commitment to the topics as to move below their surface.

I mean vs as in one version or the other. BW didn't have any of that in the game either, only truth and ideals clashed, but the past and future representation of the world was interchangeable too.
