The Charizard here looks more like a Charmeleon with wings. This is probably the closest to what it was originally envisioned as with its manlet height, as opposed to the big orange dragon everyone imagines it to be.

Same. I bust out my childhood GBC to do a new playthrough of Silver every now and then, but each time I end it after a few hours because it's just not the same anymore.
I will never experience the sense of wonder that drew me into the Pokemon world ever again.
