I skipped b/w and MegaEvolution entirely and spending money on charizards only.
Most of normies and investors don't even know that there are two mega-chairzards (some actual poketubers thought Gigantamax Charizard from Sword-Shield and Mega Charizard is exact same thing)
As soon as normies realize they need both Mega Charizards for their collections - Mega Charizard X will rise up in price because it's a set of TWO charizards.
