>>58313974Shiny hunting IS infinitely easier in new games, especially Arceus and Scarlet/Violet where overworld spawns with identifiable shininess exists (effectively meaning you're constantly rolling for new shinies), as well as multiple ways too boost shiny rates.
Arceus has the shiny chime that lets you know when one spawns, Shiny Charm and Research Boosts (with the truly dedicated getting hilariously free shinies if they manage to max research all Pokemon), and SV has Shiny Charm, sandwich boosts, outbreak boosts, and on Switch 2 edition, a metric shitload of spawns happening all at once, never mind when a special outbreak event is happening since those tend to crank up the odds even more.
