looking at her old designs, GSC, FRLG, and HGSS she had the corset. RBY was the only one that wasn't a cameo appearance where she didn't and her outfit was really basic. It comes off more as a lion tamer or something in the anime which I guess fits Gen 1

shit I'm retarded, plus that image is broken on bulbapedo. Still GSC and FRLG had the corset but yeah I always saw the black part as a full body bodysuit with a skirt and tube top over it

that bodysuit was how fans interpreted the design but the let's go design was potentially clarifying that it was always meant to be a corset.

Why are corsets bad again?
