Even Goh and Koharu were better than all of them and they were the worst companions that travelled with Ash.

In fact the bad guys are so exposed and incompetent that the show had to erased every police officers and law enforcement to bend the plot to Spinel's will to make him look like a threat instead of writing a smart villain. Oh and Gibeon turned out to be even worse than chairman Rose.
