Archaludon isn't a 3rd stage Pokemon, it isn't a Pseudo.

M-Scizor and M-Houndoom are closer to the definition of a Psuedo than Archaludon is.

Archaludon is not a "pseudo" because that's a fan term. It is "in the 600 club" which is another, potentially more readily recognized fan term in japan. There has been official art of specifically the pseudos that excludes archaludon though, so it suggests gamefreak considers both groups to be valid, with one being a subgroup of the other. But I also suspect that over time the concept of a pseudo will be eroded and we'll start seeing archaludon, along with some other random mons that we currently don't consider, included in one or both groups. But to be clear, right now, no, archaludon is not a pseudo.

These are people wanting to add new conditions to a rule already established by fans, and that TPC doesn't have the balls to canonize it. And since users of this board get annoyed by anything, you'll see things like Archaludon as a favorite pseudo, Hydrapple as a favorite Unovan pokemon, Poipole as a favorite starter, and Stellar as a favorite type.
