Ever since gen 4 its basically been a guarantee that after the game comes out a second game in the same region with the same story slightly remixed will come out

the entirety of the gen 2 games was the post game for gen 1 in reverse

emerald adding in the third legendary for gen3

platinum making gen 4 playable(not good niggers playable)

gen 5 thought it was being really cool not just by making 1 but 2 shitty remixes of the worst complete pokemon game

gen 6 is incomplete literally which further proves why the third game is so needed to prevent this

gen 7s post game is literally locked behind the entire second game

so in gen 8 now instead of having to buy a second game at full price you buy the dlc and get to keep your progress and play the postgame which was already locked behind a paywall before

im not saying the 3 game system is good or anything im just confused why pokefags of all people are complaining about DLC is this not better then buying a 3rd full price game?
