It would either die in 2 years or somehow survive for many years despite the fanbase at large constantly forgetting it outside of Presents and news sites because it did well enough in its target market, see Café ReMix and UNITE.

They brought back the unused record ribbon in gen 9.(was intended to be rewarded to the players pokemon for the pokeathlon)

Might be be used in ZA after reaching the top rank im guessing cause i have no clue why else they brought it back

Friendly reminder that 100%ing pokeathlon takes 30 hours. 30 Hours of gameplay just for a side feature, that's why people say that HGSS are the best games in the franchise. SwSh full playthrough is 10 hours. And that's it.
