I downloaded Home the other day after putting my living dex in there when it first came out. Those fuckers won’t even let me look at my living dex unless I pay up. So yes, Home is gay and lame.

I'm not sure if you're able to read, but it means you can send stuff from ZA to home to Gen 10. I'm guessing you're new to the franchise (probably really young), but this was the standard until very recently

They never once said it would change it though. I you had to ask me, they lumped everything that was on Sweitch with each other, with Gen 7's LGPE being separated. Odds are, they're treating Switch 2 the same, everything moves within the system's games but no "cross-Gen" fuckery shooting back to Switch-era games.

Before the Switch in Gens 1-7 every game within the same generation was cross compatible for battling and trading. Cannot fucking believe you need to be told this.

It's a consequence of LZA adding a new language to the list of supported languages. Backtracking to LGPE, SWSH, BDSP, PLA or SV would force them to change the Pokemon's native language just to be compatible with older titles, since they famously refuse to do compatibility patches in the name of "move forwards, ALWAYS move forwards."

No. Just like how they didn't update XY with the ORAS Megas, and how they didn't update SM with the USUM UBs.
