From this, it's presumed that the region will be based on the Greek archipelagos. This isnt confirmed of course, but it's a natural enough next location and fits thematically.
There was also a load of false """"leaks"""" going around from misinterpretting internal files that gave every fake leaker on this site the idea that the games would be called Wind and Waves. That part is completely false.
Because of these, the natural presumption is that it'll have a Windwaker style structure to the game. If even JUST the island part is correct, it's very easy to envision how that structure would fit with Pokemon, especially considering they've flirted with ideas like that on more than one occasion.
