I think I managed to replicate the issue, and fix it by changing the resolution scale, so I'll post a config file
I could also upload a savefile past the fletchling cutscene if my ryujinx setup doesn't work

Here's the new support thread I guess.

OpenGL/ native or lower res/all safe settings still crashes at fletching for me after multiple attempts in ryubing.

Eden 0.0.3 crashes a lot in general at the train station. (whats rc2 version, I don't see that at the eden github?).

5070, Ryzen 5 7500-F

Seems to be a bit of a crapshoot, hardware wise what works for who, most people seem to be crashing.

If anyone is getting past in Ryubing, can they show every single setting they have and describe the changes?

And maybe even just share a save file at this point. Although we will probably get more crashes later if its happening so early. Might be best to wait for emu updates and fixes, or just buy the thing at this point.

FOR THE PEOPLE CRASHING AT THE FLETCHLING CUTSCENE ON RYUBING

There are two options, keep trying until you get past it (it's RNG), being on OpenGL helps too
OR play on Eden v0.0.3-rc2 until you get past that cutscene, save, then transfer your save to Ryubing

There are 3 files, the XCI for the base game, the day 1 update 1.0.1 that doesn't launch for me and the DLC activation file that seems to work just fine with the base game.

Used 0.0.3-rc2 of Eden which did fix the solid color issue, but some objects were flickering. So after the cutscene with the Fletchling and when you have to follow Pancham, I switched back to the new Canary version of Ryujing from the OP. I'm in the 2nd wild area now and even found a shiny there. Shiny jingle is back, same one as Legends Arceus.

Emulation has almost nothing to do with GPU, it's all about CPU and RAM, I have a 1660ti and I'm getting 30fps at all times

Ngl I kinda like the way HMs are in this game. You smash rocks with rock smash, wash away the goop with water gun, probably cutting the vines with cut, it feels honestly kinda neat. Maybe it's because it faster and in real time idk

Ryubing crashes 100% of the time thanks to Fletchling, and Eden just crashes either immediately or the moment I finish loading in on the save I transferred from Ryubing in an attempt to bypass Fletchling. Nothing I've tried has worked to deal with the crashing in either emulator (and this is with everything properly updated, using the rc2 release of Eden specifically, and even trying that config file which was linked earlier). Hell, I even tried Sudachi but for some reason that emulator just crashes on launch for me now, and my patience is shot so I can't be assed troubleshooting that either at this point.

At this point I'm just going to have to wait for a more solid solution (I'm not so desperate to play this shit that I'm willing to use someone else's save) or an emulator update (which I'm not hopeful for since patching it this early is likely to have Nintendo immediately stomping their shit in in a fit of rage).

Alright i had my fun emulating it.
I liked the QOL changes to catching. You can dodge roll spam without ever getting noticed which is crazy to me. Battles really feel like Xenoblade which im kinda iffy on. I dont like waiting on the cooldowns if i use a move to break an obstacle. Not being able to turn off autosave really hurts, i played all the way till getting sidequests and still did not get the option, which is weird as to why they would do that considering previous games let you turn them off. Walking past a fashion store and seeing their line up of clothes before going in is pretty cool. Music was fucking 10/10, rare for me to turn the volume up on a game. Looking forward to playing the game when its out.

oof, that's rough, but:

first go to this link >>58386262 and download the ryubing in there, it already has known working firmware and prod keys, thus being able to see and open the game
then download the config file and move it inside the portable folder, that way it shouldn't crash during the fletchling cutscene
and if it still does, download the save, extract it, rightclick the game, open the user data folder and move it there

There's something funny to me how with scarlet/violet playing on emulator was a better time then using actual hardware, but since the switch 2 hasn't been hacked/emulated yet the leaked version is the switch 1 version, so the emulated version is actually going to be worse then the physical version.

I tried to run Ryubing with my Bazzite OS PC, I dunno what happened, now Eden doesn't work anymore and my non steam games aren't booting.
Total desperation here trying to find a terminal command that can fix this. I dunno if my vulkan broke.
Weird enough Z-A booted fine and I tested Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash from steam and it worked too.

I'll take Xenolike gameplay over turn order manipulation for a game with multiplayer actually on it, this is way more dynamic but you do not have the bazillion command inputs that Xenoblade eventually bloats itself into which is also a plus for me. I like Xenoblade 2 the most btw.

If eden works you can use it but in my experience I have major crashes and glitches with it so I swapped back as quickly as possible. Also you should keep both emus so if other crashes appear you can swap back and forth

Game seems to be running fine no crashes or save loading issues.

However I am getting a, graphical bug I think? In certain areas when moving my camera around my screen turns into solid colors, that seems to be tied to the textures in the area as I was getting flashes of green while moving my camera around a tree.

I tried running in openGL but the game refuses to launch.

Yeah, that's what I am thinking. Everyone else seems to be using mix/matched firmware/keys for eden so its probably something along those lines.

On top of that this is a leaked version of a game that isn't even out yet so who knows what can be causing what.

I'm using vulkan and besides the crash in the fletching cutscene, I haven't had any troubles

I think you can still choose between handheld or docked but it's in the input settings section for some reason. at the bottom where it says global input, docked mode, direct keyboard access, direct mouse acces. uncheck docked mode.

For Eden 0.0.3 users.

If you're getting the solid color screen glitch, you just need to keep playing while aiming your camera to the sky and then resetting it. Keep playing like that until you select your starter. After the first battle and cutscene, the game will fix completely.

For Nvidia users keep Extensions > EDS 3.

Eden v0.0.3-rc3
Vulkan (opengl crashes)
firmware 20.5, prod keys 20.3 (just ignore it when it complains about only supporting 19 or whatever firmware, you can still install)
graphics -> advanced -> sync memory operations -> enable
graphics -> extensions -> extended dynamic state -> 3
All graphics are fucked but fletchling and the eden train station crash is finally bypassed

And it can finally load saves.
extended dynamic state MUST BE 3 to load saves or vulcan will hang indefinitely on eden for me.

anisotropic 2x

graphics backend vulkan
graphics backend multithreading auto

handheld mode

in cpu i had memory manager mode Host (Fast)

in system I had vsync custom refresh rate set to 100% (enable custom refresh rate)
and ignore missing services checked

and turned off enable discord rich presence in interface settings

and in logging settings I turned off enable logging to file

then after I saw that I got past the cutscene on the 2nd try I turned the graphics settings up a bit
resolution custom - 1.00
anti aliasing none
scaling filter FSR at 15
anisotropic filtering 2x
because I figured I wasn't going to crash again

That's weird. Right click the game and remove every cache available. Then close Eden, then open it again. Take a look at my settings. Maybe it helps.

Make sure you have Use disk pipeline cache unchecked after clearing the caches. So it doesn't load corrupted caches.

Try
graphics -> extensions -> extended dynamic state -> 3
Mine wouldn't load at all without it.
Also I just disable caching. (disable Use disk pipeline cache)

updating at least made the art show up, but the switch says the game is corrupted. im on firmware 20.3, latest atmosphere, and i definitely updated the sigpatches. i cant figure out what could be wrong

The 4chan /vp dumps of game roms that appear every year on /vp/ since time immemorial are never malware but they ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS have the nca and other things modified. It's probably because whoever does the uploading each year is scrubbing it thoroughly

I'm in the exact same boat as you. UBI, Tinwoo, SD, Nand, no matter how I install it on switch hardware, it returns a "corrupt" install. My sig patches are up to date, and i'm on 20.5.0.
