the game has been running very smoothly after the fletchling cutscene, literally zero crashes since then and I only get fps drops when it's building shaders
still no clue why that one cutscene is the only thing Ryubing couldn't handle

This is pretty much where I'm at, word for word. I went into Graphics > Advnced and disabled all of the (hack) settings, and it helps a bit, but I still have some bad visual bugs, myself

a somewhat reliable fletchling fix:
first go to this link https://gofile.io/d/Sink9L and download the ryubing in there, it already has known working firmware and prod keys, thus being able to see and open the game
then download the config file and move it inside the portable folder, that way it shouldn't crash during the fletchling cutscene
schizo theory: spamming F5 during said cutscene might help
and if it still does, download the save, extract it, rightclick the game, open the user data folder and move it there

I did come past the slut bird but now i have graphical issues.
I use Eden 0.0.2 with firmware 19.0.1 and the latest prodkey 20.3.0
Ryujinx has no graphic problems for me but the bird issue instead

so I tried running it on firmware 19.0.1 and it loaded fine, but now trying all these newer ones even 20.5.0 it's crashing on startup. even downgrading to 19.0.1 where it previously worked still crashes.. wtf

I find it hilarious that Nintendo sued/bribed to take down the two main Switch emulators and like 4 more popped up to take their place like a damn hydra.
When I played last night Eden worked relatively well, mostly solid frames, but bad flickering. Didn't play too much due to wrapping up another game first.

I think the warning is to do with the file being converted from xci to nsp destroying the signatures. Frankly I didn't chance it and just emulated.

Getting the same exact flickering on Eden as I did when I played Scarlet on Yuzu two years ago. Hoping someone makes a lod mod for this one because that mod is what fixed the flickering on Scarlet.

if it's the type of flickering that completely covers the screen then you need to use one of the release candidate versions, I'm using rc2
you'll still gets models warping in weird ways but they won't cover the entire screen

Objects and buildings disappearing then popping back in constantly. The game is playable if you ignore that but this is the exact same issue Scarlet and Violet had two years ago on Yuzu until a LOD mod fixed it.

iirc Ryujinx always has the least input delay, but stutters way more than Yuzu forks because of async cache. but yuzu forks always have graphical issues. when Arceus came out there was a really good custom Ryujinx build that ran like butter with zero issues, I hope thats the case this time too

There are 6 wild zones with 29 evo lines which add up to about ~100 pokemon. Where the hell are the other 100+ located? It can't possibly be the rooftops, you rarely ever see anything other than pidgeys and bellsprouts and flabebes.

Trying to play on Ryubing using the version in OP. Have latest Prodkeys/Firmware and GPU set to opengl, do not have the update install, but the game and ryubing crashes the moment I try to load ZA (or frankly any pokemon game, which previously had been working) after showing the "Loading game" screen. Everything else has been running smoothly, I had zero crashes aside from that damn cutscene so far, even stuff I thought would crash like the Ampharos mega evolution ran fine

You can try to make it run with Eden emulator past the demon bird and than use the same save stat with ryujinx. Even a brainlet as me could do it.
I use ryu 1.3.156 with AMD

if you use eden rc2 and the game freezes on the loading screens try setting cpu accuracy to unsafe and uncheck inaccurate nan handling
in my case it takes several attempts to even start the game and there are still some flickering or disappearing objects and vertex explosions, but at least it runs

Sometimes Eden worked with the same setting , sometimes not. Eden was strange.
If you mean in Eden: I couldn't fix the graphic issues. I could only see the scene when the granny yapped, then i saved the game and chose my starter. I had zero graphic issues in Ryu.

My Graphic settings in Ryu with RX7800XT are: Vulkan, Resolution Scale: Custom 1,00. Anti-Aliasing: None, Scaling: Bilinear, Anisotropic: 16x, Ascept 16:9. CPU: Host: Fast. I think other than that i didn't change anything

The custom ryujinx that people only existed because the lead dev of ryujinx essentially didn't sleep and went to fix our game for us or some shit within hours of the leaks dropping and an anon compiled it. Yuzu devs were so bad they were literally copying his code. Anyway, the nintendo lawyers showed up on his doorstep and threatened him to stop him making more ryujinx. Allegedly, his real profession was an university lecturer in computer science. So now there will never be another good updates for ryujinx because most devs cannot understand or touch core emulator code and can only write shit like ui as that doesn't involve reverse engineering. Yuzu who included all the citra devs were also sued.

All the currently open ryujinx branches at the time of the takedown were merged into ryubing.

I think that's just also a bit of a loss you get when the area is familiar. In PLA I cared what the NPCs had to say because the world was unfamiliar. In Pokémon games post, idk gen 3, I don't really care about random NPCs and the inane shit they say. This applies also to Legends Z-A.

I'm going to complain about this in every thread, but the distribution of Pokemon is just dumb. Absolute morons made the encounter tables because I'm in the mid-40s >>58396934 and I'm only JUST encountering my first Klefki.
There's still a bunch of gen 6 Pokemon I haven't even seen, which is embarrassing for a region that only has 70 new ones.
